Last updated: July 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website of Rohr & Associates, Certified Public Accountants ("Rohr CPAs," "we," "our," or "us"), located at rohrcpas.com and any related pages. By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Informational purpose only

The content of this website is provided for general informational purposes. It is not intended to be, and should not be relied upon as, tax, legal, accounting, investment, or other professional advice. No client, engagement, or fiduciary relationship is created by visiting this site, submitting a form, or corresponding with us before a written engagement letter is signed.

Engagement of services

Professional services are provided only under a written engagement letter that describes the scope, fees, and responsibilities of the engagement. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer or commitment to perform services.

No guarantees of outcome

Any references on this site to tax savings, planning outcomes, client results, or testimonials describe past experiences in specific circumstances. They are not guarantees, predictions, or promises of similar results in your situation. Tax and financial results depend on many facts and applicable law, which change over time.

Intellectual property

The site, including its text, graphics, logos, and design, is owned by Rohr CPAs or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our prior written permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation;
  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its underlying systems;
  • Use automated tools to scrape or harvest content or contact information from the site; or
  • Impersonate any person or entity in communications through the site.

Third-party links and services

The site may link to third-party websites and services (for example, Advisory Hub, RightCapital, scheduling forms, and social channels). We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability.

Disclaimer

The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy. We do not warrant that the site will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rohr CPAs and its partners, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, this website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liabilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law or under a written engagement letter.

Confidentiality of client information

Information exchanged during an engagement is treated as confidential in accordance with professional standards and our written engagement letter. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information.

Circular 230 notice

Any tax advice contained on this website, or in any communication from Rohr CPAs (including email attachments), is not intended or written to be used, and cannot be used, by any taxpayer for the purpose of (i) avoiding penalties that may be imposed under the Internal Revenue Code or applicable state or local tax law, or (ii) promoting, marketing, or recommending to another party any transaction or matter addressed. Written tax advice you can rely on for penalty protection is provided only under a written engagement that specifically identifies it as such.

Record retention

We retain copies of filed tax returns and supporting workpapers for a minimum of seven years from the filing date, and longer for records related to open-ended items (basis, depreciation, carryforwards, trusts, estates, and business formation). Original documents you provide are returned at the end of the engagement, and you are responsible for maintaining your own permanent records. Specific retention terms are set out in your engagement letter and control over any general statement on this website.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Luis Obispo County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
