Advisory Memberships
Flat-fee, so the advice is never held back by the meter.
Three memberships, one philosophy: know what you're paying, know what you're getting, and never hesitate to pick up the phone. Every tier includes your returns and a real relationship with a CPA who knows your situation.
Why flat fee
The hourly model quietly discourages the calls that matter most.
When every phone call and every email adds to a bill, you stop making the calls. That's fine for a compliance shop. It's fatal for an advisory relationship.
Our membership model fixes it two ways. First, you know exactly what you're paying, monthly, predictable, with no surprise invoices. Second, we can recommend what's actually right for you, because we're not incentivized to log another hour.
The result is what clients tell us they wanted all along: a CPA they can call, who calls them back, and who has already been thinking about their situation before they pick up the phone.

What every membership includes
The floor, at every tier.

Advisory, made tangible.

Frequently asked
The questions we hear most.
How does the monthly fee work?+
Your membership is billed monthly by direct debit at a flat rate, no matter how much you email, call, or meet. That's the point, predictable pricing so you can actually use us. Returns are included in every tier at no extra charge, and any work outside your tier is quoted as a flat fee up front, never hourly.
What if I only need a return prepared, not advisory?+
Essential is designed for exactly that, a well-prepared return, notice support, and a real CPA relationship, without a full planning engagement. Most clients start there and move up if the complexity of their situation warrants it.
Are there setup or onboarding fees?+
No. Every prospective client begins with a complimentary 60-minute meeting with Daniel. If we're a fit, membership begins the month you sign on and includes a tier-specific onboarding roadmap, a review of your prior-year returns, and a strategy conversation to identify anything that's been left on the table.
Can I switch tiers?+
Yes. Most clients move up over time as their business or family situation grows in complexity. We'll flag it proactively when we see the fit change.
Do you manage investments or sell financial products?+
No, and that's deliberate. We don't sell products or earn commissions, so our advice is unbiased. If you already have an investment advisor, we coordinate with them. If you don't, we'll review your allocations and suggest straightforward options aligned with your plan. Portfolio-level investment guidance is available through our affiliated advisory firm, Rohr Financial Advisors, LLC, at no additional cost to members.
What tools will I actually use?+
We use RightCapital, a financial planning platform that gives you a live view of your income, taxes, net worth, retirement readiness, and "what if" scenarios. Advisory conversations happen with real numbers on the screen, not round numbers on a napkin.
Do you work with clients outside California?+
Yes. We work with clients nationwide and handle multi-state filings routinely. Meetings are held in person, by phone, or over video, whichever works for you.
What isn't included?+
Specialized returns (estate and gift tax, trust and non-profit returns, certain multi-state or international filings) and audit representation are quoted separately based on scope. We always agree on fees before any work begins.
